As a serial entrepreneur Tim started and ran multiple seven figure businesses, including the first website design company in North Alabama and two successful retail operations. As a small business expert and coach he has taught entrepreneurship to over 10,000 students.

He is also a bestselling author and novelist (Everything I Know About Business I Learned From My Mama: John Wiley & Sons, 2007), a former syndicated newspaper columnist and was the small business startup expert for Entrepreneur Magazine. He has traveled the country as a corporate speaker and executive coach, is one of the top social media experts in the business, and is an avid animal rights activist.

As a real estate agent and entrepreneur, Tim unabashedly shares (often to the horror of his peers and competitors) his thoughts and opinions on the state of the real estate industry, the dirty tactics used by some agents to attract or steal clients, tips on buying and selling real estate in general or as an investment, and what he calls, “common sense real estate advice in a really uncommon world”.

Tim has been married to his wife Melissa for 26 years and has two daughters. Together they have seven dogs and are co-founders of Madison Small Pups Rescue & Adoption. Murphy the Golden Doodle (pictured) was a recent rescue.

Tim likes dogs better than most people because “dogs are always nicer and generally smarter”.
